Fans returning home from Olivia Rodrigo’s electrifying concert last Thursday faced unexpected chaos when flooding led to the evacuation of two major Australian train stations.

Police are on the lookout for two individuals believed to be responsible for damaging fire sprinklers, which resulted in waterlogged platforms at Melbourne Central Station and Flagstaff station.

Investigators revealed that the offenders accessed a stairwell connecting the platforms and inadvertently wreaked havoc on the sprinkler system around 10:40 PM on October 10.

Sources suggest that the mishap stemmed from a rather intimate moment gone awry, as the pair accidentally triggered the sprinkler system, leading to a deluge of water.

In a panic, the couple fled the scene, leaving behind significant flooding that caused the automatic evacuation of both Melbourne Central and Flagstaff stations.

As a result of the flooding and evacuations, the Melbourne underground rail network experienced substantial delays.

Despite the sources claims, the investigation is still in progress, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
