Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act, due to a police incident at Clinton this afternoon.
The declaration was made just after 3:20pm, with boundaries encompassing Aerodrome Road and Pashley Street.
It comes after officers initially attended an address within the exclusion zone around 11:40am, with specialist police continuing to negotiate with a man at the address alone.

Members of the public are advised to avoid the area, and those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors until further notice.
