Police are appealing to the public following an alleged attempted carjacking at Rockhampton last night.
Investigations indicate the driver of a white Toyota Hiace had stopped at a roundabout on Canning Street outside CQ University around 6.30pm Wednesday, when she was approached by an unknown man.
The man allegedly entered the vehicle through an unlocked door, threatened the woman and attempted to pull her from the vehicle.
She yelled at the man, and he exited the vehicle and fled the scene.
The woman went to Rockhampton Base Hospital for treatment after sustaining minor injuries to her arm.
Police say alleged offender is described as an Indigenous male aged between 30 and 40, bald, no facial hair, and was last spotted wearing a black shirt and tan coloured pants.
Anyone with relevant dashcam footage or CCTV in the area is urged contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
