Nearly 350 people were nabbed exceeding the speed limit – including four high range readings.

The CQ region was lucky not to record a fatal crash, which police feared across the long weekend, with a massive police presence across Queensland roads.

Police will urge drivers to remember the fatal five while driving around the region, particularly on highways and in school zone as school returns this week.
